China is a country with a culture that has been inherited for thousands of years. Some people say this is a utopia, while others say it is a dystopia. The truth is discovered by yourself, so we have prepared a China travel guide for all explorers. Firstly, let’s start with the entry visa. Is it possible for your country to enter China without a visa?
From March 14, 2024, to December 31, 2025, China has decided to implement a unilateral visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from twelve countries: Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Citizens holding ordinary passports from the above countries who come to China for business, tourism, family visits, and transit purposes for no more than 15 days can enter China without a visa. People from the above-mentioned countries who do not meet the conditions for visa exemption still need to apply for a visa before entering China. Since then, China’s visa policy has been updated. In November 2024, the stay period has been increased to no more than 30 days, and many new countries have been added.
We created a more concise chart summarizing the countries that will be able to enter China visa-free in 2025 (Until December 31, 2025). Please note that this is a tourist visa, other reasons for entry will vary depending on your country.
